#3 - This guy added an emoji to his brand

This has got to be one of the slickest design elements I've ever seen.

Taking an emoji, making it 3D, and then incorporating it into your brand.

That's exactly what Glen Allsopp did over at detailed.com:

He even explained the thought process behind it and how he did it in this article.

The emoji is sprinkled in throughout the site, most notably in all the featured images. Here's an example:

I thought this was super creative. I would imagine it helps bolster his already-strong brand.
